all about PINK....

Alecia Beth Moore known as “ PINK “ was born on September 8, 1979 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and later raised in Philadelphia. Her parents James and Judy Moore divorced when she was very young. She likes to listen to music of Madonna, Mary J. Blige, 4 Non-Blondes, Janis Joplin, Billy Joel, and of course Whitney Houston. When she was young all she wanted was to become a singer. She got her nick name “PINK” when was a child. She grew up in a musical family. Pink was a very unique and talented teenager. She even went through phases as a skateboarder, hip-hopper, and even a gymnast that’s why you can see her flexibility and her very tone body every time she perform. At the age of 13, she then was singing in Philadelphia club scene and performing for talent shows. At age 14, she then started writing her own songs, she wrote lyrics as an outlet for her feelings, and her mother commented, "Her initial writings were always very introspective. Some of it was very black, and very deep, almost worrisome." the same day a local DJ at the Club allowing her to sing a song every Friday night which gave her more exposure with her talent. So, from then one of the big executive producer of MCA spotted her singing on stage and asked her to audition for a singing group called the Basic Instinct and it did not work out well. She was then recruited for a R&B female trio called Choice but it did not work out well again they disbanded because of some differences over musical directions. Pink signed La Face as a solo singer in R&B. In year 2000, Pink released a debut called “ Cant take me home” and the top ten hit “There you go” which was a certified gold single. Pink is one of the most paid artist in 2009 and now she still continue to rock your world. I’ve watched the video Pink performing at Grammy’s 2010 in youtube. I was speechless while watching and I cant get tired of watching it again, all I can say was the best! Pink is really a unique person.
